IST inclinometer 

For the handling of textile, carpet, film, paper and non-woven webs, the inclinometer controls synchronization of the drives by means of dancer rolls.

The inclinometer converts an angle of ± 45° (0–90°) to the vertical axis into a linear proportional voltage. It features a stainless-steel enclosure, and is suitable for uses requiring X12 CrNiS 18 to DIN standards.

The inclinometer is mounted directly on the centre of rotation (30/40 mm diameter shaft) and fixed with a recessed hexagon-head grub screw. It can be fitted without the use of a torque arm or other mechanical elements. The sensor cable is connected by means of spring-type terminals.

The sensor runs on ball bearings and is damped with silicone oil. It can be used in drive systems to detect the dancer roll position on textile, carpet and paper machines. Owing to its robust construction and full encapsulation, the inclinometer is completely maintenance-free and can therefore be readily used even in parts of an installation exposed to unfavourable ambient conditions.

IST centre winder

This product enhances flexibility and convenience in the working environment by making material changes quicker and easier.

Centre winders are used at the entry or exit of a textile, paper or carpet machine. Fixed (stationary) winders and mobile winders are used for the various applications on the machinery. A further distinction is drawn between centre unwinders and centre rewinders. Stationary winders are fixed to the floor, whereas mobile winders can be moved to different machines as required. Two different control system types are possible for use with the winder:

  • Torque control
  • Dancer roll position control

CVC-Modul 6.0

The latest generation of the module for evaluating the signal from the tilt angle sensor.

Our original CVC 1.0 module was developed at the beginning of 2000 to evaluate the signal from our INKL 1.0 inclinometer. Over the years, the module has evolved progressively to the current version, CVC 6.0. The Up and Down buttons are used for navigation to the individual menu items. The Select button is used to select the parameter (refer to the description of CVC 6.0). Two relay outputs for the minimum and maximum can be read into the PLC or integrated into the customer's existing conventional control system.

The power supply unit ensures a high level of safety for the supply of power at 10 V DC in industrial applications.

The NT24DC01 power supply unit was developed specifically for the supply of power to the Inclinometer 1.0, which is used for dancer roll position control in the textile, carpet and paper machinery industries.

Its flexible input voltage range from 12 to 30 V DC enables the NT24DC01 power supply to be used in any control cabinet. The power supply unit, which is fanless, occupies a small footprint on the DIN rail and provides protection against voltage fluctuations and other disturbances.

The NT24DC01 power supply unit considerably increases operational reliability and immunity to faults, and thus the availability of your system.

The NIVAM-24DC-01 detects six different levels of aqueous solutions. Power is supplied to the sensors in the form of a 24 V AC voltage generated in the unit.
